Dan Hands has been practicing law for over 33 years. In addition to founder and president of the law firm, he is also a co-author of Love, Money, Control: Reinventing Estate Planning. His practice is now devoted primarily to estate planning and related matters.
His belief in the importance of proper estate planning for individuals is reflected in the generous amount of time Mr. Hands spends presenting educational seminars to the general public as well as to select groups of financial professionals.
Mr. Hands began his legal career in the interstate trucking industry. Over the years, he has developed a practice emphasizing estate planning, probate and tax reduction. He is a member of the Illinois State and DuPage County Bar.
Mr. Hands received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University, and his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Mr. Hands is married and a father of two daughters. Away from his busy practice, he participates in a local amateur acting club.
